Raheny Under 6 (Yes, really under 6) Hurling and Football team
Dotsy O Callaghan introduced Raheny GAA Clubs newest team, the Under 6's, to the waiting paparazzi recently (October 5) in pitch 12a. Fans brushed past the national league medal holder to get the autographs of the new celebrities. These 2005 boys have been getting on really well at the Friday evening and Saturday morning hurling and football training sessions.  They may be only out of junior infants but the skill levels in both codes for this group are really high as they have clearly been at it for a while now. Their hurling training is now switched to 6pm on Wednesday evening at the Raheny Astro while football continues every Saturday morning at 10am at the club.  Dotsys advice to the new team on the evening was clear "Do exactly what your coach says and practice a little every day in both hurling and football and you will be a top class team.
