Well done to Eoin Keogh who is currently training hard with the Dublin MINOR Footballers for the pending 2008 Leinster Championship. Eoin is a 1st year Minor and has come through the Juvenile section at Raheny GAA and in recent years the Dublin Development squads.

Minor footballers advance to quarter-finals  v Meath next Saturday 10th May in Parnell Park

Darragh Stapleton illustrated his potential when he kicked four points as Dublin's minor footballers defeated Kildare in Saturday afternoon's Leinster MFC first round clash at Parnell Park.

The St Patrick's of Palmerstown lad had been sidelined through illness during the Dubs challenge and Ulster MFL preparation games but kicked four points from play to steer Gerry McEnteee's side to victory.

Dublin led 0-5 to 0-3 at half-time and should have led by more but were guilty of squandering some good positions.

However, they concluded the second half in impressive fashion and ran out seven point winners to book their spot in the last eight.
