The draw for tickets for the all Ireland took place on Saturday, please could any members who come across tickets pass them back to the club. There were a lot of disappointed Dublin Fans on Saturday night. Thanks to Brian Curtis who sourced a ticket else where and withdrew his name from the draw. True Club spirit.

Our Minor Camogie are running a "guess the score" competition for the All-Ireland final.

Just simply guess the score of Sundays all-Ireland final between Dublin and Mayo, each guess cost €3 - this can be done at the bar.
Please get behind last years champions and support the girls.

Under 13 Camogie
Raheny U13s hosted Danesfort , Kilkenny on Sunday ,All- Ireland Camogie Day.
On the first pitch of the double header, our girls battled hard  but the Cats were the better side on the day.
On the second pitch the Raheny girls came out on top against Barrogs.  It was then back to the club for
refreshments before the Kilkenny gang headed to Croke Park for the Big Game.
A big thank you to all the parents who made lots of cakes and sandwiches. A great day was had by all.

Our U14 Girls Football team are through to the semi-finals of the Championship details of match to follow.

U9 Girls
Well done to the Raheny girls who met our neighbouring club Clontarf in saint Anne's Park on Sunday 15th.
The girls played three matches against Clontarf and were victorious with all three matches.
This is a brilliant achievement for our girls especially as Clontarf concentrate solely on Football.
Siobhan Woods who plays for Dublin and Raheny was one of the refs for the day.
She said the girls were a fantastic bunch and great at football. She hopes to play with them in 10 years when all the girls are playing senior football for Raheny & the Dubs! A big thank you to Siobhan from all the girls!
Happy Birthday to Sarah Brady who celebrates her Birthday this week.

U9s Boys
Raheny and Clontarf u9s faced off for 3 streamed matches on Saturday morning up on Alfie Byrne Astro.
Lovely morning for hurling on this lightening quick surface. Many thanks to Clontarf players and mentors for the morning's sport.
For our green team, all the boys played very well in a well earned victory.
Special mention to Daniel Broderick for an outstanding performance both in point taking, often from impossible angles, and excellent blocking.
Mentions also for Ruairi Kelly for a couple of good points from out the pitch, Eoghan Cullen for well timed blocks, and Conor Ahearne for his catching skill point and tireless effort right through the 40 minutes. All 9 boys put on a great show in a real team performance.
In the white match Michael Harnett writes that the lads played really well in a good win over Clontarf.
Stand out performance was from young John McNally who got some great scores and never let their midfield settle. Conor Ryan and Sam Grant played really well in defence to shut out Clontarf for no scores in 2nd half. A great team effort to put Matthew thru to score the last goal with his boot! Well done boys.
For the orange team Richard Sherlock and Mike Twomey noted that this was the best match this group of lads have ever played from start to finish.
Great all around team performance. Rueben got stuck in, in the first half. Paul was super in goal in second half. Scott bagged a hat trick of goals.
Cathal Quinn and Cormac Lenehan ran the show for the full 40 minutes. All the players were stars on the team in a 3rd win.
Boys, we all need to keep getting the hurley in our hands daily to continue to develop our first touch. Every little bit of work will pay off.
Training details for this week - Tuesday, hurling, pitch 1 5.50. Wednesday, football, pitch 9 5.50.
Keep up the great work players, parents and mentors.
