We are holding a handball workshop in Manor House this Thursday night in Manor House. Enda Timoney –Irish Handball Coach is running the workshop. The workshop is focused on all sections of the club and I believe will be of great benefit particularly we are entering the off season period . If you want to maintain levels of fitness Handball is a very enjoyable way of doing so. The cost of the workshop is a nominal 5 euros so please try and get along - I can promise it will be a very enjoyable evening.

Congratulations to all involved with AFL2 on a great 2pt win over Round Towers[C] in the Promotion Final last Sunday.
The Players and mentors would like to thank everyone for their support last Sunday morning, we had a full sideline as always.

Good win for U21s
in c/ship win over St.Finians[S].

Minor f/blrs also had a good win v Whitehall Colmcilles.

Raheny U8 footballers played our neighbours Naomh Barróg on a cold morning in St Annes Park on Saturday last.
We played U9 rules again meaning the players had to crouch lift the ball (no more picking it straight off the ground at U9). We had 4 9 a side matches running simultaneously on Pitches 12A & 14. 20 minutes per half.`
Some excellent displays from both sets of players. Sean Reilly played a stormer for his team, Ciaran Harnett scored some nice points for his team but player of the morning has to go to Conor Ahearne. On a frosty pitch with no gloves (apart from a pair his mother offered which he rightly turned down!) he helped turned around a 9 point half time deficit with 5 points, counting as 15 to lead his team to a hard earned victory.
Well done Conor keep up the good work with your left foot you will soon be equally adept on both sides
We will have a rematch against Naomh Barróg in the new year in hurling.
Thanks to all for braving the elements on Saturday it wasn't pleasant.
Conditions allowing, we will have one more match this Saturday in St Annes against Fingallians. Switching to hurling for this week for both the match and hurling training on Wednesday at 5.50pm Alfie Byrne Astro. See you then.

  • Time 19:00 to 22:30.
