Another great weekend for the club, we had Siobhan Woods playing in the All Ireland Senior Ladies League Final on Saturday unfortunately losing to Meath. And also Siobhan's post about her captaining the U21s Dublin footballers was the most likely post every on our Facebook page. A Massive 163 likes!

Siobhan and the U21s Dublin team play Louth at 4.30pm on Sunday 18th May in Ballyboden St Endas followed by a Senior Hurling Challenge Dublin v Offaly at 7pm.

Ben McHugh was named man of the match of the tournament for Dublin U15 North Hurlers. These dubs will now go on and prepare for the prestigius Micheal foley Tournament later in the summer.

Senior Hurlers played Faughs on Saturday evening and came away with a good win, 01-18 v 00-08.

Our Senior Footballers are looking for your support in St Margarets v St Peregrines on Thursday evening. More details on our website

U10 Boys
On Saturday, we welcomed Kilmacud Crokes to a damp Pitch 12A for our latest hurling match. Good numbers from both sides meant that we were able to take to the field for 3 competitive matches.
Our orange team had a very close tussle but lost out by two points. There were strong performances from Cormac Lenehan who scored a goal through a block-down of the Kilmacud goal-keeper's attempted clearance. He was ably assisted by Morgan Spillane and Aaron Fitzpatrick.
The white team had a fairly comfortable victory over their opponents. Well-taken point scores from Luke Fitzpatrick and Jason Maguire ensured Raheny finished on top.Sean Reilly who was injured in the pre-match warm-up managed to play the full game outfield and was his usual busy self.
The green team had a much closer battle but also came out on top. While Kilmacud Crokes were very good at closing down our players and getting numerous blocks in, the Raheny lads still managed to get some great scores. Top marks must go to Conor Ahearne and Ruairi Kelly who both gave fully committed performances and both weighed in with scores at crucial times. Mention too for Daniel Broderick who scored a goal from a sideline cut and Conor Ryan who gave a battling performance.

Minor Div 2a Footballers
Raheny 3-§3 v 3-08 Fingallians.
Fantastic result and brilliant team performance from all the lads.

Junior B Hurlers lost to St Monicas away on Sunday afternoon.

Junior A Hurlers won away to St Brigids 2nd round of the Championship. 06-11 v 01-04.

Many congratulations to the parents of the new arrivals in the club, Daniel O Neill, Cara Emily Ryan.

Peil Abú
Peil Abú is back in St Annes park on Monday evenings at 8pm. This is a version of Gaelic Football with slightly modified rules - the main change being a tag tackle similar to tag rugby. The playing group is mainly made up of mentors, ex-players and parents of kids in the club and it suitable for all fitness and skill levels. It's a good way to get a bit of exercise and get to know a few others in the Club and we are always looking for more people to play. We meet beside pitch 12a before 8pm and will be done by 9pm. Please email Stuart on if you are interested in playing or just turn up any Monday.

Wednesday night Trad music in the club from 9pm, all welcome.

Congratulations to all our players who made their confirmation last Thursday.
