Best of luck against Longford in the coming weeks.

U9 Hurling vs St Brigids
Well done to the U9's who went to St Brigids in the hurling league on Saturday. Brigids were short on numbers and only fielded 2 teams instead of 3 due to a clash with some game involving an oval ball apparently!
We fielded our white and gold teams that battled hard in very windy conditions.  Our green team players were mixed into the teams in the second half of each game.  The first half the wind was on the side of Raheny, and they took advantage of this factor with Brian Reddy scoring a great point straight from a puck out when playing in goal!  Adam Loscher scored a nice goal during the ground rules 10 min session of the first half.  In the second half Raheny battled very hard into the very strong wind, which caused difficulties with puck out's and general play.  There was some great blocking skills shown by Ted Laput and Michael Quinn.  Jamie Kearns and was very strong in defence winning plenty of tackles.  Aaron Miller and Shay Keogh where very solid in midfield and battled hard to win every tackle.  In the last seconds of the game Ryan Markham scored a lovely free, which won the game for Raheny.  Well done to the team and their hard efforts!
The U9 Gold Team put in a battling performance against a strong St Brigids side. The wind was a significant factor in the game that saw Raheny control the first half and St Brigids the second. Raheny had the better start with strong ground hurling. Killian McGuirk scored a fine goal from an excellent Raheny attack and determined play by Jack O'Leary and fine goalkeeping by Harry Keegan gave Raheny the upper hand at half time. Raheny had to do plenty of defending in the 2nd half and John McNally, James Keating and Cathal Baldwin all showed great bravery by making painful blocks and tackles. At the end St Brigids came away the winners despite an excellent performance by the Raheny boys.

AFL7 Raheny 01-08 v 03-08 Crokes.

AFL10 Raheny 01-07 v 00-10 St Brendans.

AFL4 Raheny 00-13 v 03-05 St Brigids.

AFL1 Raheny travelled to malahide with a steel and determination to meet the challenge of St Sylvesters.  Raheny dealt with everything that Sylvesters had to offer and led at half time by 5pts to 3 pts.  Raheny dominated many of the second half exchanges and went on to win by 00-10 v 01-05. A thoroughly deserved win built by a superb attitude and great work ethic.
