All Adult AFL Footballers & AHL Hurlers should have received their Guess the Score Cards for the DUBS v KERRY NFL match on Saturday 4thFeb, please return them asap, further cards available from Rob O’Neill or your mentor.
DUBS v KERRY NFL game is on next Saturday in Croke Park, members are asked to drop back to support your club afterwards.

Club Members who ordered DUBS Spring Series tickets can collect same later in the week from the clubhouse. Parnell Park pass ticket holders can collect tickets for Spring Series from 10.00 today at ticket office in Dorset St.

Well done to all our members who ran in the Raheny Shamrocks Annual 5 Mile race on Sunday.
Congrats to Greg Hogan who celebrated his 40th last Saturday evening.
The Raheny GAA contingent made in home in one piece from Cheltenham, a great weekend was had by all, well done lads.

Easter Camp 2012 runs each day 09:00-13:00 from 2nd-5th April for 4-12 year olds, cost is €40 per child.

Any teams playing friendly’s, for adherence to insurance guidelines, please notify our club secretary in advance.
The gym is getting great use this year, everybody is asked to clean up after them and return equipment to its correct storage slot.
Players are asked to immediately cease calling Tommy or Greg to open the GYM outside of normal club opening hours. (Clubhouse if open Mon-Thursday from 7:30pm, Friday from 5:30pm, Saturdays 10:00, Sundays 12:00)

Pre-Season Update

All teams are now getting back into the swing of things.

CCC1, CCC2, CCC Fixtures have been distributed to Mentors.

  • AHL2 play Parnells on Alfie Byrne Road Saturday the 4th at 2pm in a pre-season workout.
  • AFL2 had a good workout away to Fingallians on Sunday, scoring 18 points in wet, slippy, wintery conditions was a good return on the day.
  • AFL5 played St Vincents AFL4 away under floodlights on a bitterly cold Friday evening, with Niall Russell, John Sullivan, Dean Barton and Derek Brown all back in action.
  • AFL8/10 combination played Oliver Plunketts away on Saturday
  • U15 Div 1 Footballers travelled up to Ballymun Kickams on Saturday morning and did very well against last years All-Ireland Feile Champions.
  • U14 Division 3 Footballers played Lucan Sarsfields away on Saturday in preparation for League and Feile year.
  • The Annual Gormanstown Juvenile Hurling Tournament has started and runs for the next few weeks. Raheny have 3 U7 teams and 2 U8 team taking part.
  • Girls Camogie and Footballers between U8, U9, U10, U11 Footballers were out in force again in big numbers on Manor House Astro.

For fundraising purposes please donate your old mobiles and ipods. All members are asked to check out at home, with family and friends re same. A large Collection Box is now available in clubhouse, all mentors are requested to ask their players to assist this initiative.

Our Ogra is now back full swing every Saturday morning for 4-7yr old boys and girls. The U5-U6 train on the club astro and the U7s on the pitch behind the schools.

The OGRA and Adult Mentors are asking Adult Players to give a few hours during the year, interested in ‘sponsoring a team’, maybe an hour once a month or OGRA on Saturdays 10-11:00? Contact Neil Curley, Kevin Welsh or Ronan Leech.

St. Annes pitches remain UNPLAYABLE until further notice, NO training allowed. Check website Friday evenings for pitch updates.
