A big thank you to all the club volunteers who helped out with the recent bar refurbishment, the feedback is very positive and plans are afoot in the new year to repaint bar area, hang pictures and create a dedicated 'HALL OF FAME' area. If any club member is in a position to sponsor picture frames, please contact Greg or Tommy.

Club Opening Hours over Christmas are:
Friday 23rd        17:00 to 00:30
Christmas Eve    12:00 to 23:00
Stephens Day    12:30 to 23:00
Rest of week    17:00 to 11:30
New Years Eve    12:00 to 12:30 with Music

A super night was had by all last Friday at our annual adult Awards Night. Special mention to Claire Fitzgerald for organising the event and to Andrew 'Saus' Dowling on a magnificent Fear an Ti performance and to Micka and Mark for 'DE MUSIC'.

The club would like to thank Niamh Duggan for her fantastic input into coaching during her tenure as Games Promotion Officer. Niamh has now returned to Galway permanently and we wish her all the very best in her new career.

A big welcome to our new Games Promotion Officer David O'Callaghan and we all look forward to working with David in the coming years as we strive for continous improvement in Coaching of players and mentors across all codes within the club and also local schools.

A number of adult jerseys have 'reappeared' thanks, their are still quiet a few adult jerseys missing, all players are asked to check and if any turn up, please drop them back into the clubhouse over the festive period.

St Annes Park remains closed for team training and matches until further notice.

The Coaching tab on the website has lots of information for players, parents and mentors, well done to Kevin Broderick for keeping it up to date and informative. Anybody interested in GAA Coaching Courses should visit the website or contact Kevin.

Gaelic4Mothers is proving to be a big success and plans are afoot to keep it going in the new year.

The GYM is being cleaned up over the holidays, a reminder that only RAHENY GAA CLUB MEMBERS are entitled to use the GYM and all are asked to keep it clean & tidy. The dropping of weights down onto tiles is strictly prohibited. CLUB MEMBERS are not permitted to bring friends / non members into the GYM area.
