Cheltenham Festival 2018

Our Senior Hurlers are running their annual Fundraiser to Predict the Winners at Cheltenham.

If you have any interest in horse racing this is a very enjoyable competition.  Last year the first prize was over €1000.

The Cheltenham festival starts Tuesday March 13th and runs to Friday 16th.

How it works:
For each of the 4 days of Cheltenham you will be given a list of that days races and asked to nominate the winner in each race. The list of races for each day will be e-mailed to you in advance. They may also be collected from the clubhouse.
You pick one horse in each race. A notional allocation of 10 units will be placed on each of your selections. You nominate one of your selections as your banker and a allocation of 20 units will be placed on this horse.
The person who accumulates the most points from winning horses will win the first prize.
More than 50% of all funds collected will be paid out in prizes . Full details of all prizes will be published once numbers are finalised.
Entry Fee is €80. With 28 races during the festival that's about €2.85 per race.
