Our Feile girls were in action at the weekend in Naomh Mearnog and represented the club with style. The overcame the horrendous conditions that were thrown at them to make it to the final of their Division 7 group which was held on Sunday 3rd in O'Toole Park Crumlin. They got off to a flying start but were pegged back in the second have after a strong Mearnog finish. Well done girls.

Congratulations :-
Congratulations to Dub U21 footballers, and our Raheny lads.

Easter Camp Report :-

Thanks to everyone who participated in our Easter Camp this year. The weather was in excellent form which added to the great atmosphere during the camp. The children worked hard on improving their skills in both Gaelic Football, Hurling and Camogie. On Wednesday we had our healthy lunch day where kids brought in some very nutritious foods to show to all the camp members. Prizes where given out on the day to the best healthy lunch but it was a very tough choice to pick out the healthiest. Thursday we had our coach of the week. This is where all of the children participated in picking their favourite coach of the week. Overall the camp was a great success and a big thank you to all our coaches and everyone who was involved in making the camp so much fun for all of the children.

Mick O' Brien is organising an 8 a side social hurling tournament v our local rivals Clontarf over the summer over 3/4 games. The Lemon Tree cup will be aimed at anyone who has not played in a few years or anyone who wishes to give it a go. This is very much a social outing and nothing too serious. Unless we lose that is. We have a cup bought and the winning team will have the cup in their club. Anyone interested in playing should contact Mick O' Brien 0871420228.

Next Golf Society Outing

This year, in addition to supporting the club bar,  we are also aiming to raise 1,000 euro in total for the club funds from these outings. The first event takes place on Fri 22nd April and will be a 12 hole stableford competition. We have the tee from 5pm. More details to follow next week but please note the date. The plan is to run one of these every month from April to September (6 events) this year with the emphasis on having a bit of craic and getting people back to the club afterwards.
