The Raheny GAA Pre All Ireland lunch is now taking shape and with Dublin in the final after Sunday's epic battle it promises to be another great event this year. As a reminder, people can buy individual tickets for €100 or groups of tickets together from any of the people listed below. Why not come along for a great day out and support your club at the same time....

Congratulations to Siobhan Woods,

Brian Fenton and also both Senior ladies footballers and Senior footballers on winning their All Ireland Semi finals.
All Support Welcome

We are playing our 2nd round Dublin Senior 2 robin Camogie championship game on Tuesday night at 7pm on

support from club members - across all codes as possible. We won our first round game against

Ballyboden  B and another victory will ensure our qualification for the semi finals .
So please try and come out and support the team , they have put in a great effort and their efforts deserve acknowledgement.

GAA launched their partnership with HSE under the mental health initiative #littlethings at the Dublin/Kerry Semi Final last Sunday, 28th August. The #littlethings campaign aims to give practical guidance and advice on how to manage your mental health – for more info:…/LittleThings-campaign/.

Before the game, a large banner was presented in the centre of the pitch and at half time, a tug-of-war between 2 teams led by past Dublin and Kerry Champions was staged in front of the Hogan Stand. It’s an exciting initiative, one that’s never before been done by the association. Raheny were on the pitch supporting the launch: Aoife Stack, Ciara Manley, Sean Shannon, Aidan Gaughan and Karen Wilkinson - the cailins presenting the banner and the bold buachaills in the tug-of-war. RTE and Sky have committed to covering the launch so we expect it to get prime coverage.

Coach the Coaches

We are delighted to announce the formation of a GAA football skills initiative for boys and girls with special needs aged between 9yrs – 12yrs.

The aim is promote inclusivty within the club whilst ensuring lots of fun and enjoyment.

In order to run the sessions we will need a 1:1 coach to child ratio.

To help with this, our club Games Promotion Officer Will Lillis is going to run a coaching session for beginner coaches on Friday 2nd September from 5 - 6.30pm. Parents need have absolutely no

coaching experience to attend the session - it will be designed to help beginner coaches.

The fun sessions will initially be rolled out as a pilot from Friday 9th September and open to club members on a first come first served basis.

If you are interested in having a child attend or you or a family member would like to get involved in coaching, please contact: Maria O Cinneide (086-1969701 or email:

Parents or Coaches interested in getting involved in coaching at the sessions please get back to us before 31st August. There is a requirement that all our coaches are GAA Garda vetted. For any

coaches not yet vetted we can start that process on 2nd September.

Many thanks,

Maria OCinneide
Will Lillis
