Our Senior footballers are looking for your support on the 24th at 19:15 against Whitehall Colmcilles.

AHL2 played Naomh Barrog on a very wet Saturday evening, exciting game from start to finish ending in a draw Raheny 0-13 v 2-7 Naomh barrog.

Our U16 ladies footballers had two great games during the week, first v Clontarf away, a very tight match Raheny were leading by two points and in the last minute conceded a goal, with no time to reply Clontarf won by one point.

On Saturday playing away to Ballinteer St John the girls came away with a good win, 8-5 to 2-5. Well done girls. Speedy recovery to Maeve Hanley.

U16 Div 1 hurlers Raheny 5:16 Na Fianna 2:8

Raheny GAA Golf Society

Thank you to those who supported the Raheny GAA golf outing last Friday 19th May in St Annes GC.

The event was over 12 holes and the 1st prize was a 40 euro voucher for McGuirks Golf. The overall winner was Shane Walsh with a great score of 27 points  We try to keep things interesting for all standards of golfer in these events so the next prize was for the person who came 7th and Kevin Aherne won himself a 25 euro McGuirks voucher with 21 points. The final prize was for the best cumulative score on the three par 3 holes.  Neil Kelly won this on a count back and received a box of golf balls. David Carroll was unlucky to come 2nd in both the overall event and the par 3 category so he was rewarded with 3 golf balls as a small consolation!

Food and drink was enjoyed afterwards back in the GAA club and supporting our club bar is a big reason for these events so please try to come along to some of the next outings and get to know more people in your GAA club.

Thank you to those (who wish to remain anonymous) for their donations towards this outing.  All surplus funds raised from these events by the end of the year will go to a worthy cause within the GAA club so your help is very much appreciated

The dates for our remaining 4 outings this year in St Annes are as follows:
Fri 23rd June (tee from 5pm)
Fri 14th July (tee from 5pm)
Fri 18th August (tee from 5pm)
Fri 15th September (this is an 18 hole event and we have the tee booked from 2pm for this one).

Lads are even pulling out their lucky boots from way back in the day...when they used to fit into them...wont say whos they are but the fact that the laces have rotted off them and they are from 2002 says a lot about the age profile.
