Club Notes 23rd February 2016

Well done to our Ciara McDunphy who had a fantastic day with the Dublin Minors v Wexford by weighing in with 1-7. Ciara is another great talent to watch.

We're always looking for volunteers to assist with coaching, admin/registration, and preparation of the fresh fruit (on Saturdays). Absolutely no experience is required for any of the roles. If any parents/coaches are available to assist on either Friday nights or Saturday mornings from January to June, please contact Seamus Dunne or Tom Reynolds at the following email addresses:

  • Saturday Ogra Saturday10am Club Astro

The Ogra caters for our youngest players - if you are interested in playing games with school friends just pop up to the club either day, we are sure you will have a great time.

Our Club shop will only be open on Saturday morning from 10-12 until further notice.

Thank you to all who have paid their membership to date, remember if your membership is not paid in FULL by 31st March 2016, we will be implementing a strict NO PAY NO PLAY policy.

Cardiac Screening

Many Congratulations to our Ben McHugh who has been selected for the Dublin Minor Hurling squad, Ben has been with the club since Ogra and is a fantastic talent and a gentleman to boot !

Easter Camp
Applications are available in the club lounge and are being sent into the schools today for our Easter Camp, this will run from 29th March - 31st March from 9am-1pm cost per child is 40euro, forms need to be returned by 23/3. There will be a registration night on Wednesday 16th March in the club from 8-9pm.
Men on the Ground
Many thanks to Gene Henry and Christy O Connor for doing a great job of lining pitch 10 it looks great.

The Club Hall is available for hire for parties, communions, confirmations, christenings and we have had a few weddings as well. If interested in hiring the hall please contact Tommy (Mon,Wed or Fri morning) 01-8313530.

Camogie Fundraiser

Our Camogie ladies have a fundraiser on Saturday after the Dublin v Monaghan match, music will start as soon as you get back from the match, we are welcoming back a favourite in "Smoking Celts".

Our Mothers Day Brunch

Is on 6th March from 12pm, you need to book tickets for this one as its filling up fast, (contact Laura - 087-7409658). This year we are supporting a local Mother who is hoping to BEAT MS. "Team Dee" Funds raised will help to send Deirdre McGarry, A fantastic mother, a loving daughter, a brilliant teacher, and to her friends...not enough words to describe her, to Russia for a Stem Cell Transplant in 2017. What a great way to celebrate Mothers Day for helping another mother.

Feile Fundraiser
Our U14 teams boys and girls have a joint fundraiser this weekend in Supervalu bagpacking, please support our young talent.
