OGRA



There will be NO Ogra for the next two weeks due to Easter Holidays


As always we are looking for volunteers to help with registering our new players, or simply to chop fruit. If you have 30mins to spare to help out on Saturday mornings please contact Alison on 086-2909022.


Boot Exchange
The boot exchange is still up and running but has moved into the club shop, plenty of boots in stock. Bring your clean boots down and exchange for a big size.

Raheny GAA Advanced Camp

Advanced came for U13-U16 year olds took place on 13 April, coaching from Dublin heroes on the day Brian Fenton, Carla Rowe, Fintan McGibb, Alison Maguire and Ciaran Kilkenny

The Club Hall is available for hire for parties, 

 

If you wish to book either the hall or the Hill for communion/confirmations please do so before 15/10 contact Tommy on 086-160009.

Do you know our club shop is now online, you can order and pay online and collect behind the bar.




We have new gloves in Raheny colours, Raheny short socks & body warmers in stock. As well as all the usual club gear.

FIXTURES
First Championship match for our Senior Footballers is on Friday 21st April 7pm in Russell Park, (St Brigids GAA pitch) v Cuala. Looking for the sixteenth man for this match. 

Senior Ladies are playing at home on Wednesday at 7.15pm on pitch 19 v Kilmacud Crokes 

Senior Camogie 4 are at home to Ballinteer St John on Thursday

Some weekend for Dublin and Raheny had representatives with all teams . Lauren Robinson U16b camogie, Aoife Dooley Premier junior camogie, Ciara McDunphy Ladies minor footballers, Ben McHugh county minor hurler, plus Brian Howard (man of the match) Darren Byrne and Sean McMahon with U21 footballers- Is this a record for the club ?

7 representatives 5 teams over one weekend.



Well done to our Ben McHugh and Dublin Minor hurlers on their win on Saturday in Parnell Park,

Raheny Strength & Performance

We will be running a 3 day strength & movement camp on the following dates April 19th, 20th and 21st. The camp will be for children aged 8-12 years old.

The camp will take place in Raheny Strength & Performance gym located at the rear of Raheny GAA club. The camp will include the following areas:

- basics of strength training (age and level appropriate)
- movement skills for youth athletes
- fun strength games
- speed and agility games and coaching
- multi sports including GAA

The cost of the camp will be €50.

The "Sodders"...
The 'SODDERS'  did a great job  resurfacing the 4 goalmouths on 9 & 10. Thanks to the Snr, Jnr. Footballers, mentors & club members helped ... never a finer bunch of men to wield a shovel

Well done to Finn Brassil and Shane Baldwin representing our U10s in the O'Tooles Annual Wall Ball Challenge.

GUM SHIELDS are mandatory under GAA rules for all matches and should be worn for all training sessions involving physical contact. These are available in our club shop, either on line or on Saturday morning 9.30-12.
