Last week we celebrated our Dublin players but unfortunately two were omitted, Siobhan Woods who is playing with both the Dublin Senior Ladies and Minor Footballers not to forget another great talent in Aoife Kelly who plays Camogie at minor level.

PLEASE mentors or parents could you send details of anyone of our players that have done the club proud by donning the Dublin Jersey. These players are inspirational for our up and coming talents. I am looking for photos of all our current county players in their Dublin gear for the notice board, could you forward same to .

Hard luck to the Dublin Minor Camogie team
beaten by Kilkenny in Gorey on Saturday, Again our Aoife Kelly scored two points from midfield but the young dubs missed too many chances and were beaten 4-10 to 1-12. Well done to Siobhan Woods and Dublin Minor Ladies who retained the leinster title with a great win in extra time

As it stands Sundays game goes ahead 5pm, pitch 10. Please feel free to bring a friend or two along on Sunday, the more the merrier. Back to the club bar afterwards for some post match analysis/refreshments.
Great turnout for Peil Abu with a few new faces this week. Newcomers Ken Lodge and Noel Cullen showed expertise in the art of tag tackling. Colm O'Reilly continued his great goalkeeping exploits with another miracle save. All have matured to the stage that no Ref was needed- mind you Neil and Stuart found the playing harder than refereeing this week! 5pm next Sunday pitch 10 for anyone wanting to try it out.

U12 football. Raheny 2. V Whitehall columbcille 2.
Sat 12 may Final score Raheny 4-3 Whitehall Columcille 0-6.
Great performance from all. Special mention to Eoin on his second goal of the week.

Under 8 Boys Gaelic Football weekend and Raheny 1 played ODwyers on 12a. Communion on in St Brigids this week so we called on some under 7 players to beef us up. Everybody played very well and enjoyed themselves. Honours ended even, well done to all 15 players.
Noel Cullen reports that Raheny 2 played Ballymun Kickhams up at St Kevins, ballygall rd. Both teams played their socks off. The boys were all winning ball all over the park. Hand passing, kicking were excellent. Some fine scores Cillian, Zack, Ciaran, Andrew, Sean, Brian, Matthew,Eoghan. Cillian worked ever so hard and we should have got a few more points in both games keep up the good work.
Ciaran played super games winning ball all day. Rueben played a holding role did very well. As for all the other boys on both teams they showed great strength to hold off the boys from THE MUN.
Well done everybody. Hurling training wednesday, St Annes. Keep an eye on teampage for news.

Saturday 12th May U11 Girls Football Vs Round Towers (Lusk)
The 2001 CFF Football were on the road on Saturday with a trip to Lusk. The game was played in glorious sunshine on the asto beside their clubhouse. A fairly competitive game was on the cards right from the start. We had a rolling sub for the day and we needed it as it was a warm evening. A good first half display from Raheny was met with a blistering response from Towers in the second half where their points tally counted in the end. A couple of soft goals did the damage but the Raheny contingent kept battling to the end. The end result didn't match the effort the girls put in but as the old cliche goes "it was a game of 2 halves". Someday maybe Emmily Allen can tell us how that point of her's went over.

Sunday 13th May U11's Camogie Vs Na Fianna and Castleknock.
The 2001 CFF played 3 competitive camogie matches on Sunday morning. The One Team League team had a great game against Na Fianna with the two Mias leading the scoring and Kate McHugh scoring a fine point. The Two Team League played Castleknock (who once again turned up short on numbers) and put up two great battling displays. Sinead Doherty excelled at full back while Nicole and Muireann fought well at mid field on Team Geoffrey, while Eilish, Beckie and Niamh Mc starred for Team Jeff.
