On Saturday the pride of the parish arrived in the club with Sam Maguire
, Thank you to Brian Fenton for his time and patience getting his picture taken with players, teams and families alike. The smile never left this young mans face all day, a true gentlemen with time for everyone. The evening was topped off with a visit from the "Smokin Celts" they had the club rocking into the early hours.

A few more thank yous, Eamon Doherty for organising the event, Cian Burgess for being photographer for the day, Donna Ivory and Linda Hogan for running the Coffee Dock and Mary Henry and Maria Walsh for opening the club shop in the afternoon.

The club shop is open on two more dates, Thursday 17th 8-9pm and Saturday 19 10-12. We have new stock in, check out some of the "gagababy" range we now stock.

All DCC pitches will be closed for winter period from week ending 19th December to 11th January 2016 inclusive. Reopening week ending 16th January. Our Lotto is on the increase, 2,400euro.

Omitted from club notes last week.
