Congratulations to our Senior Hurlers

CONGRATULATIONS to our Senior Hurlers and their management team on a fantastic result on Saturday evening, these lads made club history when they narrowly defeated a very strong Whitehall side, our lads fought hard throughout the game and experience came to the fore front in the last few minutes when Raheny got the lead and held on to it til the final whistle. Thank you to the 16th man was out in full to cheer on our lads.  We were all "ClubProud" when Sean Dempsey (captain) held the cup high. Our Eoghan Smyth deservedly got Man of the match, after hitting an amazing 11 points.

Our Senior footballers have a busy week ahead of them, first up they are playing away to Ballinteer St John (astro) on Wednesday at 8pm and then again on Saturday at home to Naomh Olaf at 16.45pm on Pitch 9 both games are to finish off the league.

Our Senior Camogie teams both had semi-finals on Sunday at 11 but were beaten by Oliver Plunketts and Naomh Olaf

Our AFL5 are looking for your support on Sunday morning away to O'Dwyers GAA, 16th man needed for this promotional playoff.

Our U15 Footballers won their semi-final 0-11 to O-05 Na Fianna, another final for Raheny.

Our Minor Hurlers won 7-12 v 1-08 Naomh Fionnbarra guaranteeing them a place in the Quarter final. Our Senior B camogie lost their semi final away to Plunketts, 0-2 v 0-8.

Both our U13 girls teams had semi-finals on Sunday morning, U13a were defeated by Na Fianna but U13b had a good win over Erin Go Bragh and progress to the final.  Both our teams gave it their all.

Hard luck to both our U16 Ladies footballers. U16A played a very strong foxrock Cabinteely on a very wet Wednesday evening and  U16b Footballers who lost to an equally strong Clontarf side on Sunday afternoon,  both proudly kept the fight up til the end.

You are invited to Host Dinner and help Raheny GAA club.

Based on the popular TV program, the idea is that you invite guests to your home for dinner on Sat Oct 4th. If you were to follow the strict rules of the TV programme there would be some sort of scoring and assessment of food, the chef and so on. We recommend everyone relax and enjoy themselves.

As Host we would like you to invite a contribution from each guest of €15. This money should be collected and passed to Raheny GAA Club. After Oct 4th we will send details about how this money will be collected by the club.

We would like Hosts to register so that we can enter them into the raffle and to be able to communicate with them directly

Please Register to Host Dinner by Clicking Here

We are arranging sponsors and prizes for the event. As you can see above Windsor Nissan Raheny have sponsored 5 Chauffeured Cars. More prizes to be announced. Please watch your email and facebook.

Hint: Try to invite guests from outside the club membership. This way the money is coming into the club from outside.
