Club Notes 14/11/2010

It’s that time of year again when the weather starts affecting the fixtures, a few teams were in action last weekend.

The u21 hurlers travelled to a cold and wet Phoenix Park where they had a hard fought win over last year’s beaten finalists St Oliver Plunketts Eoghan Ruadh in the championship. Final score 0-13 to 0-8. Man of the match Steo Kelly. Next match is the championship semi final on the 20th of November. All support welcome.

Senior footballers beat St. Mary’s in a crucial match. U12 hurlers beat St. Vincents by a point while U13’s beat Ballinteer St. Johns. 

The minor hurlers had a good win last week over St Sylvesters and are now in the Sheild final, keep an eye on website for this upcoming fixtures. Minor footballers meanwhile play Na Fianna in Championship Semi Final today in Balgriffin, come out and support the lads throw in is 12pm

Hurling - every Friday on club astro at 5.15pm to 6pm or 6pm to 6.45pm Drop down at either time.

Football - every Saturday on club astro at 10am .

The Coaching Committee have arranged a practical coaching sessions for mentors next Wednesday 17th November at 7.15pm on the new Dublin City Council Astro pitch beside Clontarf Dart station. We would hope that as many Juvenile Mentors as possible will be available to attend. For further details please see website.
