Well done to Scoil Assam who won their final in Croke Park Monday 5-07 to 0-12, thanks to school teachers Donnacha Kelleher, Jack Roche and all involved for all the hard work put into coaching the pupils.
Hard luck to St Brigids BNS who went down fighting by 4-05 to 0-12 to a stronger Balally side on the day. Thanks to John Dermody, Willie Coogan and all the school teachers for bringing these lads hurling skills on some much over th last few years.

Club Notes Monday 30th

We bid a fond farewell to long time club stalwart Micheal Cronin, Journalist, [Irish Press, Raheny News] raconteur, Gaielgeoir Deise man and gentleman. Removal from Raheny Church on Tuesday 31st at 5.30 and burial Wednesday following 10.00 mass in the village.

Inter camogie with Claire Fitzgerald on song had a great win over Good Counsel. U14s won v Cuala Well done to Anna Murphy on her player of the game award.

AHL2 drew with Naomh Barrog and had a great win over St.Peregrines. AHL6 had good wins over Erins Isle and Na Fianna. Duffy Cup f/blrs drew with Man O War.

Well done to Karl Kavanagh who lined out in Croke Park on Fri, U12 Div.1 hurlers won v Whitehall Colmcilles, U13 f/blrs had a mighty win v Naomh Uinsionn. U14 f/blrs beat Ballyboden and congrats to the U16 f/blrs won their Shield Cup last week.

Hard luck to Scoil Aine Camogie team last Fri. in Croke park, a fantastic achievement to reach the final in croke Park in their first season.

Deepest sympathy to the Cronin and O Sullivan families following their recent sad loss. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

Congratulations to Dub hurlers on a great c/ship over Ui Fhaili.

Camogie U8, U9, U10s are now training on Pitch No 1 (opp Texaco) on Tuesday evenings 6-7pm. Followed by AFL9 and MFL1 Minor Footballers 7-8:30pm.

Breaking News over weekend to 29th May

Raheny Youth John O'Sullivan scored for Ireland U19s as they beat Italy 3-0 in Poland on Sunday. John is now 17 years old and has just finished his 2nd season with Blackburn Rovers and we wish him well in the EURO U19 finals in July. John played for Raheny GAA and won DIV 1 FEILE 2007 and Div 1 U16 Championship 2009 medals and still maintains contacts with his friends in Raheny GAA

Good wins over the weekend for AHL2 Hurlers v St Peregrines, U12 Div 1 hurlers v Whitehall, U13 Div 3 footballers v St Vincents, U14 Div 1 footballers v Ballyboden.
Well done to Karl Kavanagh who played in Croke Park last week and best of luck to other local school teams playing there this week.

Well done to the Scoil Aine Camogie girls team on reaching final in Croke Park on Friday morning, they lost to Scoil San Trease, Mt Merrion in Friday 27 May at 12.45.  This team was mentored by Angela Harnett, Laura Sheppard and Raheny GAA Games Promotion Officer: Niamh Duggan
AHL2 game v St Peregrines has been brought forward to Friday, see the Fixtures tab for details.
Due to the clubs All Weather Astro Facility being abused, new security locks have been fitted and the key for these locks are the responsibility of the Bar Manager. The normal locks are in use during team allocations, so mentors can access the pitch, the new locks only apply outside of scheduled allocations.
