U'8, U'9 & U'10 Camogie Update!

Just a quick note to advise of some changes in times etc. for this Summer term.

Saturdays (effective from 19th April) Meet at 10:30 at Clubhouse and we all walk down to Pitch 29 (past the tennis courts and across the main avenue of St Annes). We return as a group to the clubhouse after training.  We would encourage the girls (and indeed the parents are welcome) to stay and get a refreshment in the bar upstairs. The girls should be collected by 12:30.

Tuesdays (effective from 15th April) This session works differently from Saturdays in that we don’t go to the clubhouse at all and this worked very well last year. Kids are to be dropped off at Pitch 9 at 6:00pm. Pitch 9 is easily accessible from the road and the entrance is through gap in hedge opposite number 80 All Saints Road.

The girls must be collected at 7:00 from the pitch.

We collect the €3 euro once per week (i.e if your child goes to both sessions she only pays once)

Dublin Camogie Leagues

We have entered an Under 10 and Under 9 team in the league. The Under 10 team has played (and won) one match. The schedule for U10s league means there is a match on three successive Sundays and the fourth Sunday is reserved for the U9 league which was introduced this year. The league runs from March 30th to late June followed by a break for the summer and a few games in late August and early September.

There are no matches for either U10s or 9s scheduled for bank holiday weekends.

50th Anniversary

The Raheny GAA Club is celebrating it’s 50th anniversary this year. There will be an Open Weekend for families on 31st May 1st June. This will include a

sports day, incorporating lots of fun activities for juveniles, members, parents/guardians. There are more details on the club web

Dubs V Louth June 8th

We also look forward to our trip to Croke Park on June 8th
